Techno mastering plugin. Kick and bass that survive the limiter.
Most techno masters do not fall apart at the top. They fall apart at 45 Hz, where the kick tail and the bass fight for the same air and the limiter has to choose one of them. ThuMP is a techno mastering plugin built inside a working techno mastering chain in Frankfurt: a Sub band that follows the kick, a Punch band that keeps the transient, and an output stage where a verified clipper takes the peaks before the true peak limiter ever has to pull the whole record down.
- Sub + Punch bands
- LEARN
- True peak limiter

Two bands do the techno work.
The Sub band handles everything the club system actually reproduces: the weight under the kick and the sustain of the bass. It is level-dependent, so a kick with a long tail does not pump the whole low end each bar. The Punch band sits where the body of the kick lives. Push it and the record gets closer without the hats getting sharper.
That is the difference between a loud techno master and a techno master that still moves air. A best mastering chain for techno is not the one with the most stages - it is the one where kick bass behaviour is decided before the limiter, not by it.
It listens to the loudest fifteen seconds.
LEARN analyses the densest part of the track - usually the drop or the main groove - and sets a loudness-matched starting point from that section instead of an average across an eight minute arrangement. On techno that matters: the intro and the breakdown would otherwise drag the analysis somewhere the club never hears. It is measurement and matching, not a guess and not a generated master.
From there you decide the target. A club version keeps headroom and dynamic range for a real rig with sub. A streaming version lands in the range Spotify, Apple Music and Beatport actually play back. Same session, two decisions.

ThuMP runs as VST3 and AU on macOS, so it loads on the master bus in Ableton Live, Bitwig, Logic, Cubase and Reaper. There is no dongle and no cloud session. At zero it is bit-transparent - if it is doing nothing, you lose nothing.
